SNP-4000- riser clamp

Riser clamp assembly Snappitz is specifically designed with a metal jacketing system and high-density material. The metal jacketing acts as a “clam shell” and clamps down on insulation material for a tighter application to hold pipe from sliding down. To stabilize the pipe, we used the metal to act as a “clam shell”. This enables the pipe support to clamp down on itself for binding mechanism. This idea came to us through one of our customers that was using the piping system in place. Both 180 halves of this pipe support use the class VI which has 140 psi compression strength to withstand the pressures associated with riser type piping systems.

This specifically designed unit can be ordered in all metal units: using 20 gauge on the top half or 180 degrees. The bottom 180 degree uses 18 gauge, in addition to a distribution plate for heavier load capacity. This is also used for pre-racked piping assemblies. Ideal for those mechanical contractors that are prefabricated, then set on flatbed trucks that are sent cross country for assembly at the construction sites for crane assembly.
