SnappItz Insulation Protection Shields
Our new Mechanical Pipe Shields are constructed of self-locking PVC jacketing. Polyisocyanurate insulation also known as Trymer Urethane or Insul-phen. They are glued inside a 360 degree PVC one piece self locking lap system. SnappItz complies with all current international codes.
SnappItz standard size is 4 inches of insulation and 4 inches of jacketing for pipes 1/2″ through 2″. Pipes 2 1/2″ through 6″ are 6 inches of insulation and 6 inches of jacketing. Longer lengths are available upon request.
SnappItz are a more user friendly product. They are cleaner, lighter weight, allowing the mechanical contractors to save time and money during installation.
