Snappitz Thermal Insulated Pipe Shields are currently being installed by Icon Mechanical Construction & Engineering. We are pleased they have chosen Snappitz throughout this entire project.
Blue Oval City is a planned automotive assembly complex near Stanton, Tennessee that will be operated by Ford Motor Company and SK Innovation. It is expected to be operational in 2025. The facility takes its name from Ford’s logo.

Our new Mechanical Pipe Shields are constructed of self-locking PVC jacketing. Polyisocyanurate insulation also known as Trymer Urethane. They are glued inside a 360-degree PVC one-piece self-locking lap system. SnappItz complies with all current international codes.
SnappItz standard size is 4 inches of insulation and 4 inches of jacketing for pipes 1/2″ through 2″. Pipes 2 1/2″ through 6″ are 6 inches of insulation and 6 inches of jacketing. Longer lengths are available upon request.
SnappItz are a more user-friendly product. They are cleaner, lighter weight, allowing the mechanical contractors to save time and money during installation.
